Negotiation and what most of us get wrong.
Greetings, Ninja!

In movies, a successful negotiation happens once everyone’s at the conference room table. The hero confidently presents a list of demands, leans back in her chair, and crosses her arms. Eye contact is intense. The other side sweats. Handshakes are firm. And the hero walks away in triumph.

Nothing against Hollywood, but that’s not how negotiations happen IRL. Those months the protagonist spends researching solutions, developing relationships, earning trust, and proving their effectiveness? We’re guessing that montage ended up on the cutting room floor.

If you’re a real-life Ninja (not just someone who plays one on TV), the scene at the negotiating table is actually less important than the events that lead up to it.

Think more strategy, less drama.

Rock on!
